In response to requests from our friends to the north in Canada, Karaokeblogs.com can now accept karaoke shows from any Canadian Province. There are already several in the system from Alberta, and we hope that over the next several weeks, more shows from the Canadian Provinces will be added.
At this time, these shows will only show up on the karaokeblogs.com website. Work is underway to make sure they are automatically available on the iSing Karaoke Locator for the iPhone and iPod touch.
In the meantime, if you do add shows in Canada, please drop us a note and let us know and we'll manually make sure they can be found with the iPhone Karaoke Locator.

I've been around the karaoke scene for quite a while and have been a die-hard PC/Windows user. Over the past several years I've been looking for a full featured software package that would make running a show easier.
While evaluating several different Karaoke Software programs, I cam across a program called Kjams. It looked interesting, but was only available for the MAC operating system. I had a macbook, so I decided to download the trial version and give it a try.
I was completely blown away!
The software is as full featured as any Karaoke program can be. It's interface is very similar to iTunes, which makes using it a snap. It plays all kinds of different formats, helps manage your singers and rotation, lets you manage pitch and tempo for each singer and even remembers the settings so next time the same singer comes up you already have their preferences set! It even has a built in web server that will allow people to browse the library from any internet capable device. There are so many features that it would take too long to go over them here. Here is a link to some screen shots showing what the software can do.
The developer, Dave, is fantastic and is ready to assist with any problems that may arise. You just don't get customer service like he provides anymore.
Needless to say I purchased a pro license and have been running my shows with Kjams for the last 6 months and each one has gone without a hitch. I haven't used paper slips since!
I highly recomend kJams to anyone looking at going digital with their karaoke. It's definitely worth getting a Macbook for. And besides, you can run windows on a mac now anyway! So stop by the kJams web site and check it out! You won't be dissapointed.
