Ever find yourself out somewhere, maybe for dinner, and get the urge to check out a Karaoke show?  Well now its easy with our new Karaoke Locator.  Specifially designed for Apples iPhone and iPod Touch, the Karaoke Locator powered by KaraokeBlogs.com will make finding a karaoke show easier than ever.

Just enter your zip code and select the number of miles you want to search within then click search, and a list displays showing you the Karaoke shows within the number of miles you selected.

The list displays  locations of Karaoke shows within the search area.  Click on one of the venues name to load up a map showing the exact location of the venue and its distance from your selected location.

Even though it was designed with Apple products in mind, it still works fine in Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.

Make sure to let your favorite KJ know what they are missing out on if they're not listed on Karaoke blogs.com

Cheap and fun entertainment is getting hard to find but there is one kind of entertainment that young and old can enjoy that's not only cheap it's a whole lot of fun and it's called Karaoke. In fact the popular trend of karaoke is growing at a rate that's faster than almost any other form of entertainment.

A light version of Blogs is available for KJs.  It just has basic features right now, nothing fancy, but I wanted to get something up for those who've been asking for it quickly.  Over the next few days, I'll be adding more featues to the KJ Blog feature.

To add entries to your KJ Blog, you need to have a completed KJ profile.  Click on the my profile link at the top of every page and if you've completed your KJ profile, you'll see a section just below the KJ Profile section called MY KJ Blog. 

Any entries you add there will show up as part of your KJ Profile.  Like I said, its really basic at the moment, but it will get better!

After a lot of hard work, the new version of KaraokeBlogs.com is online!  Not only will you notice a new look, but now adding and maintaining venues and show times is much easier. 

Here is a list of the new features: 

Any registered member can add venues and show days and times to the system. 

KJ Profiles - KJs can now subscribe for their own KJ profile.  The KJ profile will allow you promote your company.  Allowing you to upload a photo or logo, describe your company and the services it provides.  In addition, you can have your regulars register on the site and rate your company!

Search Engine friendly design - A great feature is the search engine friendly design.  Search engines will easily be able to find your KJ Profile and index it, making sure that when someone searches Google, MSN, or any of the major search engines, your Profile will be found. 

There will be much more coming in the next few days.  So for now, browse the listings and if you see any that need updating, please let me know.

If you're a KJ whose already registered, all passwords have been reset.  Just send me an email and I'll get you you're new password so you can create your KJ Profile.

Karaoke Blogs has become very popular and many have requested that maintaining show listings be easier and not as confusing.  Well, there are many changes are coming to KaraokeBlogs.com.  First you'll not the new look and over the next several week  you'll see new features a couple that are comming soon are:

KJ profiles with links to their website and shows

Member Ratings:  Rate and provide comments on your favorite KJ's and venues

Venue adding/editing:  Any member will be able to add or edit Venues and update that venues show schedule, unless that venue is part of a KJ's profile.
